Role The role of Financial Analyst, based in the city of London is a key position within the finance team of this fast growing media company and will be responsible for Cash flow forecast, analysis and effectively support the whole for finance. This role has full responsibility for helping out with audit queries. The group is entering its second year of Big 4 audit and responsibility for delivering audit-friendly schedules and preparing statutory accounts has sat with the Group Finance Manager. You will be relied upon to provide support dealing with queries and getting ahead of the game relying on your existing experience. Managing group cash flow and treasury. Prioritise inputs and see how your work adds value and drives towards key objectives. Working with the Group Financial Controller and CFO, you will be responsible for reviewing, modelling and forecasting cash flows in a dynamic, fast-growing group setting, operating in a range of currencies with a view to limiting FX exposure. Ensure insights from analysis are clear and action oriented. Assist with month end reporting. There will be opportunities to gain exposure to month end reporting, particularly in our European media and tech business. Tax reporting. Support the Group Finance Manager with the preparation of quarterly VAT returns, and coordinating with experienced third-party advisors. Ensure communication is concise, precise, and impactful. You're profile This media company based in the city of London is ideally seeking a qualified financial analyst (ACA/ACCA/CIMA). ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified, with Big 4 (or similar) audit experience, with responsibility for statutory accounts highly desirable. Consolidation and acquisition accounting experience highly desirable. Experience in a private equity environment desirable. Experience with multi-currency accounting, with knowledge of correct FX treatments. SAP experience desirable. Strong communication skills, both oral and in writing. Salary and Package This Financial Analyst role for this fin tech firm based in the City of London is paying £48000.00 10% bonus £3,000 for lunches delivered to your desk), holiday 25 days, pension and private healthcare.
