IAC is working exclusively with a global construction business to recruit an Internal Audit Manager for their newly created in-house Internal Audit team in London. Reporting to the newly appointed Global Internal Audit Director, this role will assist in realising the vision of the function. In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for reviewing operations and processes in order to evaluate the effectiveness of mitigating key risks. You'll ensure risks are appropriately identified and managed and plan, lead and deliver end-to-end reviews of financial and operational business processes. This is an exciting role that will give you the opportunity to develop a reputable function that adds real value to the organisation. You'll be fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIA) and have prior internal audit experience, ideally gained within another international organisation. Prior construction sector experience is desirable but not essential. As this is a new function, you must have first-class interpersonal skills and be happy working in an organisation that currently has an immature risk and control environment.
