THE COMPANY: This business is a well known, industry leader with multiple sites across the UK and plush head offices based in Harrogate. The business have continued to grow significantly, and after recently launching a new product offering, are now looking for to hire a customer focused, highly professiona Credit Controller/Customer Service Manager, to join their finance team. THE JOB: This role will report directly to the Management Accountant, and be responsible for overseeing 1 staff member. The key duties of the role will include: To collect outstanding money by telephone in advance of the service whilst maintaining good customer and interdepartmental relationships. Maintain the current debtor's ledger and communicate any concerns which may be pending to senior management Process payments through an inhouse portal and monitor the company bank account for daily receipts. Monitor and update the Inhouse Finance ledger, including but not exclusive to chasing payment defaults by telephone, email and letter. Monitor and update the system with current receipts and expected external finance daily. Report the value of daily collections to senior management. Monitor and maintain the daily charges and refunds Monthly reconciliation and reporting of the debtor's ledger.
