Job Description Duties &
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for all technical accounting and financial control matters for multiple entities
• Preparation of statutory accounts under IFRS and any local statutory reporting
• Prepare monthly local payroll and liaison with oversea local payroll providers
• Manage cash flow and report on it at an operational level
• Manager AR function and review outward invoices and cash collections
• Produce cash flow monitoring reports along with weekly updates
• Responsible for asset financing relationships and calculations
• Responsible for audit and liaison with auditors in conjunction to CFO
• Review and approve ban reconciliations
• Provide tax advice on an ad hoc basis locally and internationally
• Overall responsibility for month end close process
• Produce VAT return and compliance on VAT and HMRC matters
• Oversee financial operations and controls different geographical locations
• Manage implementation of new ERP system
• Manage processing team member Experience and skills required:
• Need to be able to operate with a hands on and proactive approach
• Clear concise communicator
• Fully qualified Accountant e.g. ACA/CIMA/ACCA or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years post qualified experience
• Strong technical accounting experience preferably with project based accounting
• Prior experience working with different accounting software and systems
• Ability to deal with a wide range of stakeholders including technical stakeholders such as Project Managers and Quantity Surveyors
• Experience with finance arrangements (HP etc)
• Strong contract accounting experience
