Unlike many other roles being advertised currently, this one is not working for a start-up technology business with growth potential. This company has been there, worked hard and been incredibly successful in those first few years of inception. Within that time-frame, they have expanded across 20 countries worldwide and are now knocking on the door of a £100 million turnover. What we're looking at here, is a business that is now reaching their next phase of growth and further global expansion. A recent, high-value PE-injection has allowed the business to start concentrating on operational and market growth, worldwide system implementation and laying down next phase strategy across the business. Arguably, now is a more exciting time to join the business as they start creating a 'best in class' finance team, implementing silky smooth systems and processes and looking at where and how they can generate further revenue from current and new streams. This newly-created FC position based in Central London, will require an ambitious and driven Qualified Accountant who can balance both accounting duties with commercial and ad-hoc activity. You'll spend a week in every month getting your reporting covered and sent out the door. The rest of your month will concentrate on ad-hoc work - this can be anything from process improvement and financial controls, global ERP implementation to analysis, modelling and business case creation with presentations and follow through to implementation. You will be required to work heavily with MD's and senior non-finance staff across the business and building up an in-depth understanding of local, in-country operations - a strong local knowledge so you can add real-world value to the business.
