About the company My client, a leading City of London based management consultancy who provides premium services to clients across multiple industries is seeking a versatile and career driven Purchase Ledger Assistant to start immediately as part of its expansion plan. My client's accounts team of 10, staff led by the Accounts Manager, has a culture of internal promotion and progression. They are keen to take on someone who has completed or is currently doing their ACCA/AAT/CIMA qualification. What you will be doing? Reporting into the Accounts Manager, as a Purchase Ledger Clerk you will be working on: - Processing daily invoices - Foreign currency payments - Processing expense claims (including credit card expenses) - Month-end bank and supplier reconciliation - Resolving all queries from suppliers Essential skills/experience - 1 years' experience across accounts payable - Flexibility, ability to communicate at all levels - Experience within a medium size accounts team - Intermediate Excel skills Desirable skills/experience - Studying ACCA/AAT/CIMA qualification - Experience using an accounting system - Experience in a similar industry Benefits and perks - Full AAT/ACCA/CIMA study support - Amazing City of London offices - Generous annual leave allowance 25 days - Premium local bars and restaurants Purchase Ledger Assistant - Consultancy
