Our Client is a Brand experience agency, looking for a Junior Project Accountant to join them on a Permanent, full-time basis. This role would be ideal for a candidate with a solid background in WIP/Billing and/or a finance assistant with revenue experience looking for the next step up within a fast paced rapidly growing company. The company has an entrepreneurial vibe so there will be an element of 'mucking in' as well the opportunity to learn on the job Role of Junior Project Accountant This role reports into the commercial director Responsibility for the management and reporting of multi-currency project finances to both the Client and Internal Teams You will work closely with a talented team:- Work with the Commercial Director to improve/develop Client reporting and produce monthly project analysis of sales targets, KPI's and and Project/Account Team P&L's Work with the project team(s) to proactively track project costs against budget and report on any variances and discrepancies. Work with project teams to accurately produce cashflow forecasts. Multi-task on numerous event projects and where necessary, provide weekly and ad hoc reporting Responsibility for the financial close process for each event Profile of Junior Project Accountant Ideally studying towards ACCA/ACA/CIMA or Part Qualified Ideally worked in an event agency environment or equally fast paced environment Proven excel skills at advanced level and a plus would be the ability to create reports from scratch and sound ICT skills in general. Working knowledge of cost, budgeting Strong communication skills Ability to work at pace and under pressure as this role is a high volume and analytical Proven knowledge of WIP/Billing Salary & Benefits £28,000-£35,000 (The salary range/rates of pay is dependent upon your experience, qualifications or training)
