Accounts Assistant (£22-27k depending on experience/study support) 8.00 - 4.30 Mon-Thurs and (phone number removed) Fri Minimum 1 years' experience in accounts essential AAT Studier - ideally completed level 3 and going on to study level 4 Attention to detail Diligent and particular Ambitious and willing to learn Good phone manner Balance sheet reconciliations Assisting the Finance Manager with month-end procedures Assisting with year-end accounts preparation Work on own initiative and as part of a team Inter-company reconciliations Accruals and prepayments Prepare and post journals Working exactly to systems and procedures Accounting system experience essential - preferably Sage Assisting with the development of new systems and procedures Moderate excel skills and Microsoft office skills General finance team support Completing VAT returns and HMRC submissions Driving License preferred (As the office isn't the easiest to access)
