I'm looking for an experienced Assistant Management Accountant, somebody who has experience of helping pull together the management accounts, performing thorough balance sheet reconciliations as well as preparing variance analysis and providing commentary. You will have good grounding experience in transactional processing and be comfortable with the full purchase and sales ledger process. You will use said experience to assist mainly the Accountant but also to help the transactional team with any queries where required. For this to work, you'll be methodical, logical, patient and an outstanding communicator. You'll also be responsible for closing the ledgers at month end, managing the fixed asset register and working with the Accountant to implement process improvements with the aim to improve accuracy and efficiency. You must be a competent user of Excel, the ability to manipulate data using VLookups and Pivot Tables is essential to be successful in this role.
