Edward mann are currently hiring for fantastic new role within a recruitment business based in Piccadilly Circus / Green Park. The role is titled Credit Control Manager. Whilst not initially managing anyone there is the potential to develop that aspect in the future. Working in a team of 5 within Credit Control they are a fast growing recruitment business that now boast 70 heads in the office and turnover c.£30m annually. The successful candidate ideally will have strong Excel and would be helpful to have had exposure to Xero (not essential though. Resposibilities Daily chasing of all overdue accounts, to ensure payment is received within the payment terms via telephone, email and letter Daily cash postings to sales ledger on Xero Chasing clients or sales department for purchase orders Keeping a tight record on what is outstanding Meet daily targets set by the finance manager Maintain records of all chasing activity Sending weekly statements Weekly reconciliation of our self-bill (vendor management system) accounts To assist the finance manager with the board pack for the aged debtors analysis and comment To asssit and improve billing or credit control processes Correct invoices and purchases order numbers when requested Ad-hoc duties as required For more information, Please apply ASAP.
