Payroll Officer Shrewsbury Permanent Circa £23,000 per annum Monday - Friday - 37.5 hours per week My client is a profitable and successful organisation with a site based in Shrewsbury. We are looking for a proficient Payroll Officer to join their small and friendly finance team in a permanent job role. You will be proficient with Sage payroll, and should have a good understanding of CIS, and HMRC rules and regulations. Duties will include: Processing weekly payroll for around 70 PAYE permanent paid staff on Sage Processing CIS subcontractors paid weekly via subcontract scheme Checking timesheets Monitoring overtime Using MS Excel to update and amend spreadsheets CIS/PAYE returns Answering queries from subcontractors Skills and Experience This is a busy company environment and there is a real opportunity to make this role your own. You will need strong attention to detail and excellent people skills. Experience working with CIS would be beneficial but is not essential.
