£28,000-£30,000 pa, Full Time Tenure: 37.5 hours per week, 9 month Fixed Term contract Annual leave: 20 days holiday per annum plus 3 days between Christmas and New Year, company pension scheme, childcare vouchers and season ticket loan. Start date: ASAP Job purpose You will form a key component of the Finance & Operations department and will assist with all financial aspects relating to business operations. Main duties Assist in the preparation of the monthly Management Accounts Perform the month end pre-close checks and run the month end procedure & balance sheet reconciliations Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns and monthly EC sales and Intrastat returns Prepare and analyse monthly expense reports & bespoke customer invoicing and reporting Raise all sales invoices & process purchase invoices for payment & raise payments to suppliers via online banking for approval by management Set up new contracts for billing, process amendments, terminations and update band changes. Weekly stock reconciliations Respond to internal and external tickets within a 24 hour SLA Skills and experience Minimum 2 years' experience within a within a high-pressured finance department Resilience to work in a fast-paced sales environment Microsoft Excel - advanced level Educated to A' Level standard or equivalent Working knowledge of Opera II (Pegasus) would be advantageous Personal Competencies: Excellent communications skills, friendly and hard working Striving to meet deadlines, proactive, managing own workload and team-working What to do next: Please apply for this role and upload an up to date CV.
