We have an new exciting role within a large organisation who are after a progressive an experienced finance manager to manage a small team.
Our client is a large organisation who are based all over the UK, they are looking to add to their team in Newhaven.
Supervision of five members of the team. The key responsibilities of the team are
- Cash counting, daily banking, and production/allocation of daily cash-up reports.
- Petty Cash.
- Allocation of monies received to customer accounts.
- Customer account queries.
- Weekly payroll.
- Raising credit notes.
The role requires a good understanding of basic accounting principles, good problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail. You must have supervised or managed a team previously, have excellent problem/communication skills and be organised.
In this role you will report directly to the Finance Director and assume day to day management of the finance administration team, ensuring the day to day functions of the office runs effectively and efficiently. The role is hands on with involvement in all duties and tasks completed within the office.
AAT Level 4, although consideration will be given to QBE.
Experience of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Highly motivated self-starter and team leader with demonstrable initiative.
Proven experience within a similar role.
Polite and confident telephone manner.
Accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to manage and prioritise own workload and that of the team.
