Assistant Financial Accountant - Newcastle - £20,000-£25,000pa + Study Support

Your new company
This global business is looking to recruit an Assistant Financial Accountant with full study support to join the Financial accounting team in month end processes and the Business Partners and the Business by posting journals, providing reports, analysis and insights in support of management decision making.


Your new role
As the Assistant Financial Accountant you will be responsible for the following:

• Complete month end processes as defined in desk top procedures to pre agreed timetable
• Review and process journals submitted from business partners
• Produce high quality, actionable management information reports and insights;
• Be focused on developing insightful value added management information which allows the business to deliver optimal performance;
• Challenge existing ways of working and develop a continuous improvement culture;
• Instil a customer facing culture to enable the delivery of best in class services to all stakeholders.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be an ambitious part qualified accountant (AAT/CIMA/ACCA). You will need to have an understanding of financial month end processes and be able to handle multiple tasks and projects. With the ability to challenge and deliver continuous improvement.
