Description
- Ownership of the month end process
- Purchase ledger, nominal ledger, bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations
- Monthly management accounts
- Weekly cash flow forecasting
- Corporation Tax, PAYE/NI, and HMRC regulatory matters and returns
- Statutory accounts
Development of financial accounting team members - organising the financial accounting team and developing the capability of individuals and the team as a whole
Overseeing the development and likely migration of the accounting system (in conjunction with the FC and FP&A manager)
Profile
- Studying towards accountancy qualification - ACA/ACCA/CIMA
- Proven ability to produce monthly management accounts and annual statutory accounts
- Able to demonstrate previous experience of maintaining a financial reporting package
- Team player - able to work in partnership with the finance team and other departments
- Highly organised and an excellent planner
