8-month Maternity Cover - Witney Full time position ideally but candidates looking for reduced hours will be considered. £23,000-£25,000 Pro Rata The Burford Recruitment Company are working on behalf of a premium retail brand in order to find a diligent and efficient Payroll & HR Assistant to cover a Maternity leave until June 2020 The purpose of this role is to administer the company's payroll in an accurate and timely manner as well as processing employee benefits and associated HR paperwork. Key Activities: Overseeing all payroll work across 3 payrolls Liaising with third-party payroll provider Weekly timesheet processing Monitoring the HR inbox daily, processing any starter, leaver or change (including pay rates, bonus payments, absence details) paperwork Check documents for legal compliance, following up with managers when paperwork is incomplete Maintaining People Tracker Calculating leavers holiday Administration of pension and other benefits such as Childcare vouchers Administration of absence and related payments, maternity and other family leave payments Dealing with, and responding to, payroll queries within agreed SLA Completion of national office of statistics, references, mortgage, pay related requests We are looking for a someone who has at least a grade B in GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent) with a minimum of 2 years' experience in an administration role where accuracy is key. Ideally you would have worked in a payroll position previously.
