ASSISTANT MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT FINANCE DEPARTMENT VICTORIA ICC, HELENSBURGH 37.5 HOURS (Consideration given to part time - minimum of 30 hours per week) BAND 4 £22,152 - £24,258 (PRO RATA IF PART TIME) PERMANENT We are looking for someone who is committed to working in a demanding but enjoyable finance role in the NHS. A key member of the Argyll and Bute HSCP finance team, you will provide support in all aspects of financial management including monthly reporting, budget planning, costings and analysis working with the Management Accountant responsible for hospital and community services in Cowal, Bute and Helensburgh localities, Estates and Public Health services. You will work closely with professionals across a range of disciplines who are committed to making a difference, learn how a complex organisation works, add value to key health services and build a range of transferable skills. Ideally qualified to HNC level in Accountancy, or with equivalent relevant work experience, you will have good analytical and organisational skills, be proficient in the use of IT systems including MS Excel and be able to communicate effectively with other team members and budget holders. You may occasionally be required to travel between various work locations within the Argyll and Bute Locality to meet the operational requirements of the Service.
