Reed Finance are pleased to be supporting a growing local business who are in need of some additional senior finance support in line with business demands and business growth. Following internal promotion and restructure this new role is available to a commercially and operationally focused finance professional lead the Essex based finance team whilst reporting into group level. You will be responsible for the delivery of high quality financial MI and analysis whilst operating within the compliance parameters of the finance function. Reporting into the Group Head of Finance, a few key duties include: Ownership and delivery of end to end monthly management account processes, within defined timelines and with a consistently high level of accuracy Providing and reviewing monthly MI pack with internal customers Actively engage and manage accounting function to ensure timely invoice payment and process enhancement Assist with the negotiation and settlement of problematic accounts/projects Investigate and resolve budgeted vs. actual profit variances Identify and recommend system or process improvements where possible Support the delivery of accurate and timely financial reporting to the Group function Many other ad hoc duties as requested The successful candidate will be CCAB qualified (or equivalent) with previous experience within a senior leadership position. Sage 200 knowledge in addition to excellent IT and communication skills will all be advantageous here. The ability to manage relationships with key stakeholders both internal and external will be imperative as the role progresses and develops.
