Credit Controller

Salary:
£25,000 Based: Brentford, Middx, TW8 Mon - Fri 9am - 5.30pm Immediate start Role: To provide effective management of the credit policies and processes and minimising company risk, optimise sales and limit bad debt. Duties: Checking Customer Credit limits, printing credit reports and opening orders, applying for increase/decrease credit limits via credit insurer portal. Updating Credit Insurance & Credit Limit in system. Setting up Customers on (SAP) Releasing Customer accounts from "hold" if no overdue AR or in a Credit balance Processing any customer credit balance refunds Chase up outstanding signed PODS with the Warehouse Approvals for requests to take account off hold so pending orders can be release for delivery.DAILY Post the daily cash received and get Accounting Part to approve Raising Credit Notes for price differences, shortages, non-compliance charges and faulty return claims - then processing the offsets on the customer accounts to clear items Resolve/Investigate any invoice/debit note queries/claims from Customers to resolve any non-payment issues Daily Insurance Report - update the report with any new credit limits, increases or decreases, credit limit withdrawalsWEEKLY Chasing overdue AR on customer accounts and sending out reminders (issuing final demand letters and notifying credit insurer. Uploading invoices to Vendor Uploading PODS on Vendor Central MONTHLY Printing off Statements of Account for each customer and post out (Monthly and on request from customers)The successful applicant will need to have Microsoft Office experience, Experience working with SAP and be highly numerate, With experience within a similar role.
