I am currently seeking an Internal Auditor for an inital 3 month contract to be part of my clients office in central London. Job Description: Corporate Audit is executing an audit of MiFID Transaction Reporting and requires qualified candidates to assist in the internal audit execution. The resource will be part of an internal audit team, assisting in planning, execution and reporting in alignment with Corporate Audit's risk-based methodology. This includes substantive testing to support audit conclusions. Corporate Audit management will review and sign-off on all work executed by the resource. Candidates that are not able to demonstrate strong financial services internal audit experience, in addition to MiFID regulations, will not be considered. Skills and Qualifications BSBA degree required - Accounting, Finance, and Business Administration, etc. CIA, CISA, CPA a plus but not required Proven experience in maintaining electronic internal audit workpapers (MetricStream experience a plus, but not required) Working knowledge and understanding of MiFID transaction reporting regulations The internal auditor candidates must: Maintaing a minimum of 5 years experience in the global financial services industry Demonstrate working knowledge of MiFID Transaction Reporting internal audits Be well-versed in the Institute of Internal Auditors' Standards, COSO Framework and MiFID regulations Be proficient in evaluating and testing internal controls and applying risk-based audit skills to global business units; demonstrating ability to perform audit procedures independently with Corporate Audit management support and guidance Maintain strong analytical, interpersonal, time management, project management, research and communication (verbal and written) skills Effectively work with new and changing situations, new industry regulations where there may not always be a readily apparent solution.
