An established accountancy firm in Derby is seeking a semi-senior accountant to work full-time. You must be AAT Qualified or ACCA part qualified. The firm is an established small but friendly firm, working with a range of businesses from family-run businesses to larger owner-managed companies. You will be responsible for: Preparing accounts for all types of businesses including, Sole Traders and Limited Companies. Dealing with any HMRC, VAT and Partnership Tax Computations. Liaising with clients regarding their accounts and tax. Ad-hoc duties as required. You must be an experienced AAT Qualified or ACCA part qualified with experience in public practice. You must also have strong IT skills and Knowledge of IRIS and Sage is an advantage. Due to the nature of the work, you must have a Full UK Driving Licence. You will work full-time at 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 5 pm with 1-hour lunch. The salary will be between £20,000 to £25,000 per year depending upon experience.
