Your opportunity We are looking for a part qualified accountant to work as part of the statutory reporting and balance sheet team to play a key part in our Finance business in Milton Keynes. Your role You will form part of the firm's management, statutory and specialist accounting function supporting the senior management. Your strong accounting and analytical skills will be critical to the ongoing development of our Finance teams. Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts and supporting notes Perform key balance sheet account reconciliations Support monthly management accounting process Preparation of documents for the external auditors, and coordination of audit information requirements across the business Assist in the preparation of the FCA return and bank covenants workbooks Support with other ad hoc activities to meet the teams priorities Your work, your choice At Deloitte we believe the best impact is the value we add, not the hours we sit at our desk. Location:
This role is based in Milton Keynes, but may require occasional travel. Work pattern: This is a full time, permanent role. However, we are open to discussing agile and flexible working arrangements in line with business need. Your professional experience You must be studying towards a professional accounting qualification Strong technical and analytical skills with the ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines Good communications skills, with the ability to develop effective relationships with at all levels within the business An ability to work effectively within the team as well as being able to work on own initiative Preferable: hands on experience of SAP and Analysis for Office Preferable: experience of statutory accounts preparation Your service line: Internal Services At Deloitte, we're all about collaboration.
