Leading specialist product focussed business in East Kent are looking for an Assistant Management Accountant, on an 18 month contract basis to cover a maternity. This impressive business requires the Assistant Management Accountant to prepare multiple P&Ls and balance sheet reconciliations across a number of profit centres. In addition to month end, there will be plenty of involvement on reviewing costs, and providing insightful analysis on the previous month. Detailed duties include; Month end management accounting process Calculate/post accruals & prepayments Stock accounting Review of P&Ls Review of Balance Sheets Providing cost and income analysis Support management accounts team Identify continual improvements to minimise costs and improve service In order to apply for the role, the Assistant Management Accountant needs to; Be proactive and deadline driven Have strong Excel skills - Pivot tables/VLOOKUPs Demonstrate sound experience of building up a Profit & Loss, and Balance Sheet AAT finalist or entry level ACCA/CIMA The Assistant Management Accountant will be required for 18 months, so this may also appeal to candidates who are in permanent roles, as the client will wait for the right candidate.
