We have an exciting position for a Management Accountant to work for a manufacturing business based in Corby. The company is an ambitious subsidiary of a sector leading larger group. We are seeking a dynamic and commercially aware candidate who can work with the Managing Director and Group Financial Director in the production of sound financial information. This role will also include cost analysis to ensure that the organisation is maximising its profitability. To be successful in this role you should possess excellent analytical skills along with the ability to combine different data and calculate profit margins. Duties and

Responsibilities:
Production of commercially astute management information and analysis to support the business Cashflow forecasting and budgeting Corporation tax and VAT returns Payroll Accruals / prepayments Bank Reconciliations / payment runs / balance sheet reconciliations Transactional accounting duties as and when required Debt management Interact with production control to ensure bills of materials (BOM) are accurate and up to date Review and audit BOM's to ensure they reflect the latest manufacturing practices Analyse actual labour, raw material, and overhead cost against Standard/Budget reporting on variances Aide in the development of new labour and overhead rates, budget, and forecasts Work on cost control projects, including capex and stock Assistance with the integration of Sage 200 software with required audit controls and processes Skills and experience required: CIMA qualified / part-qualified and still studying Commercial acumen and a good eye for detail Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role Exposure to cost accounting, reporting and variance analysis Strong MS Excel skills Experience with accounting software Sage 200 Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail Extremely organised and self-motivated, with strong interpersonal skills, able to work in a small team Salary and benefits: Up to £45,000 dependent upon experience and qualifications (study support will be considered) On-site car parking 23 days annual holiday 8 bank holidays Pension scheme Life assurance
