Our client based in Glossop, who are an award winning leading property development and asset management business are looking to bring in an Accounts Assistant to strengthen the finance team, salary up to £24,000 depending on experience. This is an excellent opportunity with a forward thinking business where the accounts team plays a key role across the company. It is an exciting time to join the business and they are one of the best employers in the region. You will be an experienced Accounts Assistant with solid ledger experience and good excel skills who's keen on undertaking a progressive role, developing your skills to get increasingly involved with supporting AR, Commercial Reporting and Management Accounts too. Your responsibilities will include:
• Sales reporting
• Raising sales invoices and credit notes
• Posting bank payments to customer accounts
• Managing account maintenance
• Coding and posting invoices
• Credit control
• Credit card reconciliations, liaising with the buying team
• Support preparation of weekly and monthly commercial reports
• Ad hoc duties assisting Group accountant and Commercial Finance manager
• Assisting with balance sheets reconciliations
• Assisting with preparation of management accounts
• Credit card reconciliations, liaising with the buying team Role Requirements
• Ideally AAT part/fully qualified
• Strong excel skills
• Good interpersonal skills, somebody who will ask for support when required Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary:
£20,000.00 to £24,000.00 /year
