Our client is a leading Wholesaler based in Bradford, T/O £25m, due to continued growth they are seeking to appoint an experienced Head of Finance on a part time basis. This is an exciting new opportunity to join the Senior Management team as they plot their growth plans for the next 5 years. You will have the opportunity to implement the accounts new processes and procedures and have full control of the finance department. You will work closely with the Director team to drive the strategy of the company, providing monthly MI and commentary in order to support growth. The Head of Finance will have primary responsibility for: Preparation of monthly management accounts Produce board pack, with insightful commentary Communications with external financial auditors and accountants Year-end Accounts administration Complete Corporation Tax Returns Managing the finance team, including an Assistant Accountant, currently studying AAT - providing coaching and mentoring to develop them. Extracting MI from the CRM system, collate sales statistics and pricing analysis Accruals & prepayments Quarterly VAT returns Account reconciliation Bank reconciliation Credit control, including liaison with the factoring company Reconciliation and payment of expenses Downloading and matching commission statements Reconciliation of income from all providers Credit control administration including raising credit notes Review quarterly income and expenditure figures Maintain and compile Aged Debt Reports Online VAT filing Maintain and process Payroll including P11D forms Complete Professional Insurances, data protection renewals and professional subscriptions and renewals Communications with external financial auditors and accountants Skills and Experience Required: A track record of steering a company through growth The successful candidate will be fully qualified(ACCA/CIMA/ACA) Strong Excel skills Commercially astute Benefits: Competitive
