BWR Recruitment are working with a market leading, distribution company to recruit an experienced accounts professional. With double digit, year on year growth of, the company are in the process of modernising its existing fulfilment operations which will include new purpose built facilities and a significant investment in its finance team. Key to the success of this project, will be the appointment of an Assistant Management Accountant who will report directly to the FD. Key

responsibilities:

• Annual budgets and forecasts.
• Key monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements including; Profit & Loss, Cash Flow and Balance Sheet.
• Production and analysis of relevant both financial and more operationally orientated Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as part of monthly Board reports submissions.
• Liaising with external accountants and auditors in relation to stock valuations, y ear-end P11D schedules and maintenance of the Fixed Asset Register.
• Overseeing of purchase / sales ledger transactions ledger and credit control.
• Allocation of customer payments and remittances.
• Monitoring of prepayments and deposits.
• A uthorisation of new customer accounts.
• Generation of regular corporate customer sales, rebates and discount reports.
• Calculation of monthly net-net sales figures for commission purposes. The company are also investing in new company wide Finance and logistics applications so previous exposure to systems like Sage 1000 or SAP would be essential.
