Senior Finance Business Partner | London | £70,000-£80,000, bonus, 25 days holiday, pension, staff disc., excellent fringe benefits | Leading Fashion Retail This is a truly exciting, highly influential, commercial finance role in of the UK's most established, and continually successful leading fashion retailers. The business has benefited from pro-active strategic decisions taken over recent years in several areas including digitisation, e-commerce and technology. Performance has remained strong despite a fluid UK retail market, testament to the long-term focus and investment across the entire organisation, both online and offline. About the role This is a critical role partnering digital, marketing and other commercial functions. Due to the main functional stakeholders of this role, is essential to have first class commercial acumen, communication and presentation ability. The successful candidate will ensure that complex and detailed financial information can be conveyed effectively to a wide ranging audience. This is a rapidly moving business where meetings don't happen for meeting's sake, it's about the customer and being ahead of the competition, if strategy or direction needs to change, it does so very quickly. This Senior Finance Business Partner reports into the Head of Commercial Finance, and will manage a qualified analyst. Despite this support, it is important for the role holder to be able to have excellent commercial finance skill including advanced excel, analytics and commercial reporting. Due to the high profile nature of the position, there are excellent career development opportunities from this role. Key responsibilities Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships in key areas, to the extent that you will spend significant time within those teams Provide excellent commercial decision support and commercial reporting as and when required Constructively challenge and drive performance across marketing, customer, digital, e-commerce Review and challenge existing processes and procedures Support and evaluate business cases for investment opportunities Involvement with budget, forecast and wider business analysis Management and development of junior team member(s) Person profile CIMA, ACA, ACCA qualified with strong academic profile Commercial experience in retail, e-commerce, FMCG business preferred Excellent organisational and communication skills. Ability to challenge at all levels in an agile, fast paced environment Accuracy and attention to detail Possess strong analytical skills and can demonstrate the ability to draw conclusions and make recommendations Proficient using Microsoft Excel Experience working in the retail services industry desired Package £70,000-£80,000, bonus, 25 days holiday, pension, excellent fringe benefits
