Due to growth, Ageas are looking to recruit an Assistant Pricing Analyst based in our London office. This position will contribute to the profitable development and maximise the performance of Ageas' accounts, this is a great opportunity for a candidate that has some General Insurance Pricing experience and is now looking for a new opportunity to grow their career. On a daily basis you will be assisting the Pricing team who focus on monitoring and analysing of account performances and reviewing pricing concepts. Ageas will commit to working with you to create a development plan to progress your career within Ageas, learning the ropes as an Assistant Analyst in order to progress to become a Pricing Analyst. Main Responsibilities as an Assistant Pricing Analyst To monitor and analyse the performance of Ageas' accounts, as required, at the macro, rating factor, agent and product levels in order to identify opportunities to optimise profitable growth through necessary pricing changes. To identify and monitor trends in the market which could affect pricing and underwriting of our products and Ageas' competitive positioning Development of predictive models as required by business using GLM's and other pricing techniques Develop functionality of MI reports to assist monitory of performance To monitor and analyse the profile and mix trends of Ageas' accounts at the macro, rating factor, agent and product levels in order to identify and recommend changes to maximise market opportunities and identify areas of growth To support Senior Pricing Analysts in evaluation of new schemes, affinity and product propositions in order to identify potential profitability Skills and experience you need as an Assistant Pricing Analyst Degree (2.1 or higher) or equivalent qualification in mathematics, statistics or a scientific / financial discipline and / or relevant experience. Experience of having worked in a Personal Lines underwriting and/or actuarial pricing function.
