Our client a prestigious IT Company, has asked us to find them two credit controllers to work on a short term assignment for a Credit Controller (expected to end in November, starting ASAP). If you are in the West Sussex Area and can get to the outskirts of Reigate everyday, then please apply and we will come back to you very soon. Job Purpose and Summary: Being a credit controller you will ensure collection of outstanding business debts within agreed credit terms to minimise bad debt and maintain customer satisfaction through effective account management. Supporting the team you will liaise with team leader on matters requiring escalation What We Give [Responsibilities and Tasks]: Your problem solving skills will give you the experience to deal with customer queries and forward to the correct department for resolution. In addition you will be responding to customer correspondence/requests, processing credit card transactions, sending out statements and copy invoices to customers. Preparing Legal pack prior to passing to MDM (Master Data Management ) Team for completion. You will be proactive in providing feedback to team leaders on your performance results and general issues. You will follow through on escalation of issues to the Team Leader and will work across Canon to resolve issues. Following company processes you will develop your skills to be able to train & mentor Level One & Two Credit Controllers and deputise for a Team Leader if necessary. Sharing best practice and providing team support and cover for absent team member will help you in developing a strong team. Self Development is important at Canon and you will be encouraged to take further training to develop your skills in this role through the support and guidance of your Team Leader. What We Ask [Required Skills and Qualifications]: The role requires someone who has excellent customer service skills and experience in credit control including credit sanctioning and balance sheets (ICC) Strong communication skills to understand customer issues whilst building up a business relationship. Proactive & problem solving skills approach to business issues and commercially astute thinker. Excellent organization and planning skills, attention to detail. You Will Need [Competencies]: As a team player you will know the important of team work in this environment. Developing your own skills set and those of the team you will be commercially aware to help the aim to grow the business profitably. You need to be accountable and be able to negotiate and influence.
