IBA Manager- City of London- Insurance Brokers- £50,000

Your new company
This is a leading insurance broker based in the heart of the City. With their own growing underwriting arm the business provides both broking and underwriting services. This role will be sitting within the broker part of the business and dealing with all classes of insurance.

Your new role
This is a great role where you will be responsible for managing and motivating a team of IBA clerks.
Duties:

• Ensuring FCA regulations- monthly, quarterly and annual reporting
• Monthly chair meetings to report current position on un-allocated cash, aged debt and more.
• Monthly income reporting
• Ad-hoc reporting, analysis and commentary
• Monitoring and improving IBA function and processes
• Authorising client and insurer payments
• Annual reporting for audit
• Reconciliations of complex ledger accounts and assisting with guiding team members
• project managing, implementing new companies and divisions.

What you'll need to succeed
The successful Candidate will have previous experience in a senior position within an IBA department, key knowledge of london market conditions and developments, FCA rules experience, VAT experience and monthly management reporting experience.
