Job in a nutshell To support the Business Intelligence and Pricing team with assisting in timely and accurate analysis and profiles on the competitive landscape, general industry trends and strategies to improve sales. What you will be doing - Working closely with the Operations Managers at one of our five retail stores the successful candidate will become the key contact point for all areas regarding Business Intelligence and retail valuations. - Apply and evolve pricing strategies and track the outcome of changes to KPI's - Extract, transform and compile a variety of data (e.g. customer, product, and financial data) for use in various analytical and reporting models. - Using market insight to provide support to the stock acquisition team on the selection and pricing of vehicle stock. - Produce ad hoc intelligence reports and analysis as required - Ensure the timely and accurate generation of regular and ad hoc reporting, ensuring consistency and standardization among various types of reports and reporting tools. - Maintain controls and documentation of reporting procedures; and engage in technical and modelling innovation. - Perform other ad hoc duties in support of business analysis and reporting needs. What we think good looks like - Must have a good knowledge of cars - Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to build relationships at senior levels - Interest in the automotive industry with a desire to broaden knowledge base across multiple manufacturers - Experience within an analytical role within a retail environment - Ability to partner with others, identify/anticipate needs and proactively provide support - Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other database tools - Experience with business analysis - Ability to identify, track and see issues through to resolution - Ability to effectively manage multiple projects at the same time - Excellent written, communication and organisational skills What happens next?
