Finance Officer | Fast-Growth Music School | London Harmonic are delighted to be working with one of the worlds' coolest and fast growing music schools. This business have an international reach and are continuing to expand. The music school has taught some well-known artists in modern music. They are renowned for having a fun and sociable working environment that feels like a record label They are looking for a Finance Officer who will be the number one person in finance in the business, but you will be working closely with external accountants who can support on financial matters. Working from their open-plan offices in one of London's trendiest areas. The business has employed 15 new staff in a year, and with this growth they are hoping that this role will grow to managerial level in the future. The Role: You will be reporting into the Managing Director, gaining great exposure to senior management. As the Finance Officer you will be responsible for general bookkeeping duties, both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. You will also gain some exposure to Management Account reporting, and will be liaising with the external accountants on matters relating to this. Duties: Processing all purchase and sales invoices Responsible for bank reconciliations Credit control duties Liaising with External Accountants on ad-hoc issues Management Account reporting Any other ad-hoc duties What we'd like to see (essential): AAT Qualified or CIMA/ACCA Studier Experience working in creative industries in a similar Finance position Confident communicator Passionate about music What we'd like to see (bonus): Experience with Student Loans
