Accounts and Ledger Assistant We are recruiting for an Accounts and Ledger Assistant in the Birmingham area with our well established client. As an Accounts and Ledger Assistant you will need to have: Previous experience within a finance department Knowledge on Progressor accounts Maths and English GCSE's Grade A-C (or equivalent) Understanding of multi currencies would be an advantage Previous experience using in house systems Good attention to detail Excellent telephone manner Receive bank chequesDetails:
Salary:
£18,000-£21,000 per annum (depending on experience) Working Hours: 9:00-17:15 Monday - Friday
Location:
Birmingham Duration: PermanentRole of an Accounts and Ledger Assistant: Provide general finance support across many operational areas of accounts Sales ledger and purchase ledger Post and allocate receipts to the sales ledger Post invoices to the purchase ledger Take telephone payments and banking cheques Produce sales invoices/electronic invoices Check statements and resolve queries that arise Manage the deposit inbox Reconcile statements Ensure sufficient funds are held in each account Receive bank chequesBenefits of working with us as an Accounts and Ledger Assistant: 23 days holiday plus banks holidays Company incentivesIf you are interested in the above role please click apply Extra Personnel Limited acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers
