The client has built their reputation for excellence over the last 20 years and have become a household name across UK and across the world. They are looking for an experienced bookkeeper that can take charge of the small finance team (two other team members) and as well as being hands on supporting in the finances, take time to upskill the team. Job Overview: Take complete ownership of the overall finances of the business. You will be managing a small finance team and working closely with the Finance Director to ensure continued growth and success. Main

Responsibilities:
Managing the financial department on a day-to-day basis Design and provision of high quality and timely financial management information and KPIs to monitor performance and progress against agreed plans Regular management accounting duties, including: Production of monthly management accounts; Budgeting; Financial forecasting Management and payment of the monthly staff salary payroll and all related tasks Tax compliance Monitoring and improving the internal control environment, ensuring that all transactions are properly authorised and controlled Required skills and experience: Proven working experience as a Financial controller Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process Qualification in accountancy, ACCA, ACA or CIMA membership or equivalent experience The ability to work accurately and be flexible with the ability to manage multiple tasks Previous experience of working in a fast moving environment with the ability to communicate at all levels Experience of Xero accounting package What's in it for you?
