Our Warrington based client is booking for an Accounts Apprentice to join their friendly professional team Temp to Perm - 37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday Plus sponsorship to study the AAT Accounting qualification on day release About the role This position would ideally suit somebody who is interested in a career in finance. The apprentice will be trained in various aspects of finance and administration. You will work alongside colleagues to assist in the following supervised duties. Duties Input of supplier invoices and employee expenses onto the purchase ledger system Checking expense claim receipts against the company expense policy and claiming vat in line with HMRC guidance CIS Dealing with supplier requests for payment and supplier queries Weekly supplier and expense payments Filing and scanning supplier invoices and expenses with receipts Daily bank reconciliations, dealing with sterling, euro and dollar bank accounts Maintaining mileage records Reconciliation of supplier statements Raising inter-company sales invoices Maintaining cash flow spreadsheet to be kept up to date with payments Any other adhoc duties Qualifications and Skills Required Minimum of 5 GCSE Grades A to C including Maths and English Good communication and organisational skills Ability to analyse and interpret Team player Can show initiative Self motivated Approachabl e Please attach your CV to apply and it will come straight through for review.
