A great opportunity has arisen with my client, a well established provider of IT based materials to the education sector, for an Assistant Accountant to join them with immediate effect. Due to expansion within the department, the Finance Manager now needs an Assistant Accountant to join the 5 strong team and assist with various areas of finance based work. Ideally with finance based qualifications, personality and aptitude are equally of value too, so the company are happy to consider QBE candidates too Utilising cloud based Sage 50, and managing work up to month end, the Assistant Accountant will be responsible for: Overseeing the purchase and sales ledger function Accruals Pre-payments Fixed assets and depreciation This is a full-time role with the hours of work between either 8.00 - 16.00/ 8.30 - 14.30 or 9.00 - 17.00.
