Purchase Ledger Clerk - Annesley - Immediate start available - £10.91p/hr - 4 month temporary assignment - free parking Working for this well known manufacturer based in Annesley within a small team and reporting into the finance director you will play a crucial role as the purchase ledger clerk. As the purchase ledger clerk you will be responsible for:
• Process purchase ledger and cash book (nominal ledger) invoices, post cash payments and maintain purchase ledgers (balance and close at each month end) for PT & Automotive
• Maintain cash books for cash payments (£ sterling and currency)
• Maintain cash books for currency receipts
• Maintain aged credit reports and reconcile balances to suppliers' statements
• Prepare payment run (£ sterling and currency) on a timely basis and present to Financial Director for approval. Process as required
• Administer foreign petty cash
• Administer fixed asset schedules
• Administer prepayments schedules
• Administer and process Intrastat arrivals data as required by current legislation
• Provide back-up for Sales ledger clerk duties as required This position will require you to work Monday - Friday, 20 - 30 hours between 8:30am - 5:00pm with a 45 minute break.
