A reputable Belfast based accountancy practice are looking to appoint a qualified Accountant on a permanent basis. This is a full-time position that would suit an IT literate, numerate, inquisitive and sociable Accounting professional who is looking to develop their career. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Preparation/review of financial statements for a wide range of clients;
• Preparing accounts and tax returns for clients as well as advise on related business matters;
• Taxation computation preparation for all types of entities;
• Client financial and management accounting;
• Working as a client liaison and taking responsibility for queries and accounting support;
• Providing specific accounting and business support for SME directors;
• Mentoring and guiding junior staff when required; and
• Ad hoc duties as requested by the practice management team PERSONAL SPECIFICATION:
• Applicants must hold a professional accounting qualification (CAI/ACA/CIMA/ACA/CIA/ACCA/ICAS);
• Experience of working with an Accountancy Practice is essential;
• Previous experience working with Sage or similar accounting software; and
