This is an audit delivery role focused on day to day operational audit activity across an agreed portfolio of audits around the principal risk of Information Systems & Security. The role will provide DTS (Digital Technology Services) audit expertise to manage, deliver and report on audits that provide assurance to DTS. The role will bring challenge and insight to the delivery of those audits focussed on the prioritised risks across Centrica.This is a Windsor (UK) based role.The Job role:Day to day delivery of Internal Audits focused on DTS risks and processesWork with business stakeholders and 2nd line assurance functions to scope audits in accordance with identified risksPerform audit planning, testing and reporting in line with the Standards set within the function, seeking out opportunities for improvementRaise issues identified during the audit on a timely basis in a clear and concise mannerInput to the development and maintenance of the Audit PlanIdentify themes and insights arising from audit work to contribute to the wider understandingApplication of experience, initiative and judgment to situations encountered in audits.The Person:An experienced IS audit professional, with recent, relevant experience of IT audit delivery within a corporate / technical environmentCISA or other professional IT Audit qualification or have undertaken Internal Audit specific training where qualification is not in the area of audit / risk managementAnalytical with attention to detail but ability to identify practical solutionsGood understanding of business risks and associated controlsEffective at communicating with senior stakeholders and in making pragmatic recommendationsRobust and independent mindset with confidence to challenge the status quoStrong written skills to concisely communicate outcomes and recommendations.Travel:Moderate - expected to travel to the relevant Centrica sites to facilitate planning, understanding and delivery of the audit portfolio. 1-2 trips to North America per year is envisaged.PLEASE APPLY ONLINE by hitting the 'Apply' button.Applications will ONLY be accepted via the 'Apply' button.This role is being handled by the Centrica recruitment team and NO agency contact is required.
