psd is currently recruiting for an Internal Auditor for a leading property company who own and manage a multi-billion property portfolio across the South East of England. This leading organisation develop and manage a prestigious portfolio of hotels, residential and commercial properties. Primarily this role will require to police and reinforce the financial policies and procedures, scrutinise everything from the bottom up and improve processes and system. Responsibilities Audit P&L of restaurant tenants on payment plans Audit revenue of tenants on turnover rents to ensure accurate reporting Regular demise audit of commercial and residential properties occupied...and report to ensure tenancy schedule is accurate and up to date Assess all payments of property business rates / Council tax and explain why they cannot be mitigated
• Audit service charges Work closely with the Construction team to examine contractor valuations to confirm Hours and rates for labourers are correct Construction materials purchases match subcontract values and goods have been received Identify areas in the business with potential for leakage of cash (income & expenditure) Scrutinise fee levels of external architects, lawyers, QS's and other time-based costs You will be keen to work in an entrepreneurial environment and adapt to different ways of working to meet aspirational targets.
