Cost Accountant for a luxury goods brand based in the west end of London £45-55k


Your new company
A luxury goods brand based in the West End of central London is hiring a qualified Accountant to join the team as a Cost Accountant. The business have offices in the US, Singapore, Hong Kong and Dubai and are in the process of acquiring and developing contracts with other luxury fashion brands. They are on a high growth trajectory, (20M 2017-2018 to 40M 2018-2019 to 80M 2019-2020) and they are looking to make an acquisition in the next 18months to take them to 100M. They are currently distributing to the most established brands in Germany and France, such as Sephora, and are currently supplying to Harrods and Selfridges in the UK.

Your new role
You will be responsible for maintaining a high level of financial control and provide accurate, relevant and timely information on cost and production process performance. You will contribute to the continuous improvement of the manufacturing operation as well as the continuous improvement of financial operations in the group as a member of the Finance Team. Core duties will involve: manage & control product testing, cost of sales and margin analysis while also assisting in financial controls.

What you'll need to succeed

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified Accountant
• Industry trained
• Experience working in a product based business
• Cost of goods sold
• Pro-active, hands on attitude
