Management Accountant

Experienced Financial/Management Accountant either from industry or first time mover from an accountancy firm.

A job opportunity for an experienced Management/Financial Accountant position has become available for a well-known Commercial property developer.

In your role as Management/Financial Accountant you will be managing the monthly management accounts as well as helping to support on a technical level. This will include tasks such as; preparing accounts to trial balance, monthly VAT, support the production of the statutory accounts, managing the ledgers, accruals and prepayments and journal posting etc. The main system used in this organisation is Sage 50 so experience of these would be highly advantageous. The Finance team consists of 5 and there will be a requirement to support the Group Finance Manager with helping support the junior staff within the team where needed.

To be successful in this role you will need to have strong experience as an all-round management/financial accountant. You will be able to work within a small team environment within a SME organisation and will also ideally have experience using Sage 50 and be at an intermediate level on Excel. It is highly advantageous is you have worked in any kind of property organisation.
