Rydal Penrhos are currently seeking an Assistant Head of Finance who is able to work in a fast moving and challenging environment. They are seeking candidates who are: Qualified or Part Qualified Accountant or AAT Qualified with an excellent knowledge of Sage. The role will be responsible for managing all aspects of purchase ledger, processing monthly Sage payroll (including Pensions & P11Ds) and maintaining trust fund accounts. The Assistant Head of Finance will deputise the Head of Finance and assist in all financial areas of the School, including preparing and analysing budgets, monitoring spending and assisting budget holders. Assisting with Management accounts and completing year end and audits will be key. A passion for detail, analytical work and spotting opportunities to improve financial performance are essential. Candidates should have excellent organisational and administration skills, good communication skills and be able to meet tight deadlines and work as part of a team.
