A fantastic opportunity is available for an experienced Bookkeeper to work with a London-based luxury home renovation company on a part-time basis. The role will be working from home, with twice-monthly meetings at head office in Chelsea Harbour. Founded in 2003, OLBC designs and renovates heritage properties creating beautiful family homes for private clients in prime and super-prime areas within London. As a Bookkeeper your main duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Bookkeeping duties typically including: Processing accounts receivable/payable - Purchase ledger entries, checking against Purchase Orders and Applications for Payment, and sales receipts Raising sales invoices as per instruction and updating the sales ledger on Xero Updating the bank ledger on Xero for bank payments and receipts Liaising with private clients, suppliers and sub-contractors on invoices due and creditors Email and telephone accounts support, handling any conflict with professionalism Processing CIS statements for sub-contractors Managing holiday records for staff Completing tax forms To be considered for the Bookkeeper role you must be driven to get things done, and done right, with a natural head for numbers and problem solving. The company is especially interested in speaking to candidates with experience in a similar role within the construction industry. In addition the following key skills and experience are essential: Excellent knowledge of Xero and Excel for reporting Experience dealing with Companies House and HMRC Excellent verbal and written communication skills Deadline-driven and resourceful Additional Information The successful Bookkeeper will work from home on a part time basis, working for 20 hours a week, 9 - 1pm Monday to Friday or as agreed, including twice-monthly meetings at head office in Chelsea Harbour.
