Payroll Manager Our Client: A well established firm of accountants in Watford, who has an excellent reputation in the market place is seeking a Payroll Manager to join them on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate for the Payroll Manager will have: This is a fantastic chance to join a successful practice in a key and important role. The successful candidate will be an experienced payroll professional ideally coming from a practice or bureau background, who will be enthusiastic and proactive in developing the business unit. You will need to be technically efficient but you will also need excellent client handling skills and commercial sense to develop the service, along with previous staff management experience. Requirements to be considered for the Payroll Manager role: Minimum 3 years' experience of working in a Bureau environment Will have held a supervisory/managerial role and be able to delegate work and mentor junior staff members Knowledge of PAYE, NIC, SSP, SMP, SPP, Pension Schemes and C.I.S Returns Full working knowledge of Sage Payroll software or similar software packages is essential Experience of full RTI and Tax Year End processes Awareness of Auto Enrolment rules and legislation preferably with a working knowledge of the legislation Experience using Sage payroll desirable not essential What's on offer? £30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience
