The Role: Based in our Head Office, the GAP One Credit Control Manager will manage and direct our team of 14 Credit Controllers, 12 Credit Control Administrators and 1 Team Leader, ensuring efficient and effective credit control of GAP's customers. Within the role you will also take responsibility for the Group's sales ledger of 4,500 accounts and supporting functions, whilst driving and motivating the team to meet objectives. You will also take control of the GAP One Credit Control budget, assisting with departmental forecasting, and provide comprehensive analysis of the team performance. This is a newly created position to oversee an established team and help develop them within their current roles and the wider business. Applicants should have:
• Experience working in a similar role as a people manager
• Excellent administration skills
• Strong people management experience
• PC literacy, particularly Excel, is essential
• Experience liaising with customers and internal stakeholders
• Excellent knowledge of the hire industry
