Our client who is a manufacturing business based in Stoke on Trent have grown organically over the years and have been established for quite some time. They are looking for a part-time Accounts Manager to join their friendly family team. Job Description: Duties include: - Accurate input of purchase and sales ledger documents, month end and monthly payment runs Liaising with the Managing Director, colleagues, production assistant, customers, suppliers and company accountants on accounting issues Using internal production system in an Engineering environment where certification and record keeping are essential to maintain accreditation level Cashbook balancing and sales finance balancing VAT returns Credit control - dealing with the Debtor's report and chasing payment where necessary Dealing with queries on invoices Dealing with confidential personnel information It would be good to see candidates with: Previous experience in a similar accounts role Knowledge of Pegasus accounting system, IRIS payroll & HR system ideally Excellent attention to detail Flexible and understanding Be able to work autonomously most of the time To really think outside the box and to have the ability to find out answers where needed Trustworthy, presentable, professional and self-motivated Committed and loyal Hours: 25 hours per week, Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday
