iMultiply are delighted to exclusively engaged on the role of Accounts Assistant with an exciting technology business based in Edinburgh City Centre. The role is offering a salary of £20,000 - £22,000 including a great benefits package. You will be based at the central hub supporting the executive team and talented sales team. They are once again growing due to further expansion giving the successful applicant ample opportunities for career development. The Role The role of Accounts Assistant will report to the Finance Manager. The role will handle a range of finance matters, including: purchase and sales invoicing; reconciling supplier statements; weekly cashflow reporting; managing company credit card and expenses; and, providing ad hoc support to the Finance Manager if/when required. The successful individual will have experience of working within a finance based role; as well having sharp MS Excel skills (including pivot tables and vlookups). They will approach their work with high energy and an aptitude and willingness to learn and develop. On Offer ?The role of Accounts Assistant is offering a salary of £20,000 - £22,000, alongside an excellent benefits package including FLEXI-TIME. The office is based in Edinburgh City Centre and is easily accessible via public transport. You will be involved in but not limited to the following duties: 3-way matching of purchase invoices Reconciling supplier statements Managing Sales Ledger, including Credit Control Submitting company credit card statements and expenses Monthly petty cash analysis and journal posting Weekly reporting on cashflow for the Managing Director Providing support to the Finance Manager Other ad hoc finance related tasks To be considered for this position you will: Have 2 years' experience in a finance based role Have experience of Sage Accounting software or similar Have good MS Office Excel skills i.e. pivot tables, vlookups etc. Have excellent communication and relationship building skills If you are interested in finding out more about this opportunity, please get in touch with Jack Ramage for a private and confidential discussion.
