Assistant Management Accountant- Permanent - Stevenage £25,000 - £30,000pa Our client, a well-regarded and supportive business, is seeking a motivated assistant management accountant to join their close-knit team. Reporting into the company accountant this role offers a broad range of duties and a good level of responsibility. This is an excellent opportunity for a diligent and credible accounts professional to join a supportive and progressive company. Key Responsibilities - Maintaining the Fixed Assets Register - Performing balance sheet reconciliations ensuring accuracy and sign off to agreed timetables - Producing month end reporting - Analysing stock and costs - Preparing accounts up to trial balance - Maintaining VAT and customs payments The successful candidate will be a dynamic and enthusiastic finance professional who is either AAT qualified or working towards this qualification. You will be a confident in your ability to produce accounts up to trial balance and of had exposure to cost and stock in an accounting role. With an interest in taking on a broad role you will be keen to continue developing your knowledge within the manufacturing industry.
